MissionsFest 2021

“You are the light of the world…Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Jesus (Matthew 5:14,16)

Join us MissionsFest Sundays October 17 and 24 as we celebrate stories of impact from missionaries and partners radiating light and hope in over 52 nations—and in our community!

Plus, add your gift to our MissionsFest Giving Project as we go the second mile with eight of our trusted, long-term partners who are serving, empowering, and discipling vulnerable children and youth in some of the neediest parts of the world—where Covid continues to take a major toll.

More about the MissionsFest Giving Project

Whatever your means, your “over and above gift” will resource eight strategic projects by our global and local partners.  Your generosity will provide survival food packs, badly needed textbooks and educational technology, vocational training for young adults with disabilities, sports equipment, housing for arriving Afghan refugees, and more.

Paired with Christian discipleship, these efforts are extending hope and opportunity in Kenya, Uganda, South Asia, the Middle East, Greece, the Dominican Republic, and right here in Chicagoland.

Our goal is $50,000 in one-time gifts.

Here's what your generosity can do around the world:
  • $40 will provide textbooks in 5 subjects for a middle schooler at Fountain of Hope School in Uganda. The 1,300 students there must do self-study at home due to the pandemic and technology being nonexistent for most.
  • Every dollar provides a day’s food for one of the 100 children at the Hope for Life Center led by our Kenyan partner, Josephine.
  • Every dollar given provides vital technology for a school in South Asia that serves as an anchor to keep kids in school and elevate learning and opportunity by the most vulnerable in the community.
  • $1,200 provides one month’s rent locally for a family of five as they rebuild their lives in Chicagoland after fleeing unlivable conditions in their former countries.
  • $3,000 will provide an enriching library at one of seven schools in the Dominican Republic served by Kids Alive and our missionaries Vic and Leslie Trautwein.

Giving runs October 12 through 24
