For over three decades, God raised up African and global leaders through the Duttweilers—first in Senegal, then in South Africa through the East Mountain learning community in Cape Town At East Mountain, they developed diverse young leaders in launching and leading ministries of community development, Gospel outreach, and reconciliation in South Africa and beyond.  In 2021, Rod and Kathy returned to Tennessee for their next chapter of missionary service. They continue serving with United World Mission in roles that steward their rich missions experience and passion.
