Kyle Reschke
Pastor of Sending and Outreach
Wheaton Bible Church has a long history of investing in global missions and local outreach. Our commitment to reach the world with the love of Jesus Christ has continued through more than eight decades. Today, more than 30% of our church budget is directed to global and community outreach!
Across our campuses, we support approximately 90 missionaries and partners—individuals and couples who use an array of skills and passions to impact more than fifty nations of the world in Jesus’ name. In challenging contexts where we cannot send our own due to lack of access or security concerns, we partner with Strategic Indigenous Leaders who know their culture and are proven leaders.
Locally, our Puente del Pueblo outreach is the largest social service provider in West Chicago—offering case management services for families, adult literacy programming, and after-school and summer programming for children and youth. Our church also partners in providing Safe Families, Refugee Resettlement, and other supportive services to the vulnerable in our communities.
GO Teams are back, and we are laying the groundwork for several teams in 2023 to serve alongside our missionaries and partners in the joyful task of bringing hope and the Gospel in their cultural context.
While some teams, such as those below are specific to demographic or returnees, our GO Team in July to Greece is open to all ages, including families.
Interested in a mission opportunity to a place or for a time period other than those slated for our GO Teams? If so, we want to hear from you so we can encourage you in your cross-cultural service or exploration. Contact Pastor Bill Oberlin at or Jan Sokoloski at . Or call 630.876.6630.
