Women's Bible Studies

Women's Ministry offers Bible Study options throughout the year designed to help you learn more about God, grow in your understanding of His Word, and give you an opportunity to meet other women who are on a faith journey.

Our studies meet regularly September through November, and then January through May (Sr. Women’s has additional summer offerings as well). While you are welcome to join at any time, we ask that you register for the study you plan to attend so we know you'll be joining us.

Missing Pieces: Real Hope When Life Doesn’t Make Sense
By Jennifer Rothschild

Everyone experiences heartache at one time or another and everyone knows someone who has experienced heartache.  Questions like – Does God care? Is God Fair? Is God there? - come to most of us.  The answers to those questions and others like them change our view of God and will determine how we navigate our own difficulties and how we come alongside others in their heartaches.

In this study we’ll explore the answers to the questions most of us ask as we take a realistic look at the messy, mysterious uncertainties of faith.  God’s ways don’t always make sense, but He is trustworthy.  We’ll come close to Him, learn to trust Him more than we trust our feelings. See how God reveals Himself and fills in our missing pieces. This study offers help for current heartaches, speak to past ones and prepares us for the ones we don’t see ahead.

You can expect to:

  • Know God’s answers so you can hang on to when you feel you’re at the end of your rope
  • Move forward when you feel stuck in your circumstances
  • Have a greater sense of peace through every storm
  • Strengthen your faith when life is hard or beats you down
  • Experience stability when waves of emotion hit

*Dinner Cost: $5/week

Luther and the Reformation, DVD Messages

You can join other women at your same stage of life in a rich discussion of DVD messages by R.C. Sproul on the life and thought of Martin Luther.  Centuries after his death, he is celebrated as an intellectual giant, a brave opponent of corruption, a shaper of culture, indeed, as one of the most significant figures in Western history. Many people, however, are unaware of the events of Luther's life that led him to make a courageous stand for the gospel in the sixteenth century.

There are no materials to be purchased and no homework.

Come as you are and join us in Room 206.
