High School Life
High School students join our Sunday services each week to hear from our teaching Pastors. There is a designated high school seating section in the contemporary services where they can sit with their friends and their Life Group leaders. High school students are also encouraged to serve in one of the many areas of our church, from Kids' Life to technical teams. We encourage our students to become a part in what God is doing at WBC. Click here for more information on how to join a team.
Life Groups, Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 pm (fall through spring)
Life Groups are the heartbeat of High School Life. High School Life meets here on campus in the East Worship Center every Wednesday for a time of worship and relevant, Bible-based teaching on topics that really matter to high school students. Students then split into their Life Groups to support one another in prayer, go deeper in God's Word, ask difficult questions about life and faith, and grow together as they seek to know what following Jesus is all about.
Join us for HSL's Friendsgiving on Friday, November 16th from 6:30-8:30pm. Put on your fanciest clothes (or your ugliest sweater, your choice). You don't need to bring money, just bring your favorite holiday food, side dish or dessert to share with your friends. We will supply the drinks and turkeys. That's right. Actual Thanksgiving turkeys.
We will meet at 6:30pm in the Student Warehouse downstairs (east entrance by the loading dock). Friendsgiving is going to be a wonderful evening of fellowship, thankfulness and more food than we will have any idea what to do with. PLUS, if you'd like to make a home video, goofy commercial or mini-movie to be featured at Friendsgiving, we encourage you to do so.
Contact David Moran for details. Invite the squad to Friendsgiving and let's feast!
Throughout the school year, we gather together to have fun, because we believe in fun! We go to Winter Camp in January, we go off campus and do cool things as a Life Group. Make sure you keep informed of all the happenings by signing up for the Family Life Newsletter.
