We believe that most people are in search of more than another program, seminar, or just another thing to do. That's why we see Life Groups as a catalyst for life change—inspiring questions, conversations, relationships, and experiences where God shows up in new and surprising ways.
With Life Groups as the spinal column of our community we see the importance of continually launching new groups. In order to do that we have every life group start with Rooted. Offered three times a year, Rooted is an easy way to plug into community. Beginning January 13 and 17, Rooted will meet for ten weeks with one additional gathering (a serving experience) determined by your group. Rooted groups will also join together for the Rooted Celebration Dinner at the end of the session.
The cost for Rooted is $15/person, which covers the cost of the participant guide, snacks for weeks 1 & 8, facilitator resources, and the celebration dinner. Childcare is available on Sunday’s ($55 for 1 child, $88 for two children, and $110 for three or more for the full session). Please contact us if a scholarship is needed. We do not want money to be a barrier for this life-changing experience.
Please don't sign up for Rooted if you know you will miss more than two meetings.
Rooted is for people in every life stage, wherever you are in your walk with Christ. We recommend Life Groups to every person at Wheaton Bible Church.
In your group, you will explore and discuss topics like:
- How does God speak to us?
- Where is God in the midst of suffering?
- How can I make the most of my life?
- What should we know about the enemy?
- How do I share my faith story with others?
- Why is the church important?
- How do we live out our mission?
