Join us for this MissionsFest highlight as we journey to Costa Rica and experience this fascinating destination through the eyes of WBC missionaries Philip & Jill Aspegren.
Birding in this tropical nation is a favorite pastime of the Aspegrens. But they are even more passionate about caring for children separated from their families— nesting them well so they can learn to fly.
Be inspired by their ministry, Casa Viva, which has introduced local foster care to Costa Rica and has now cared for over 1,100 children in families through Costa Rican churches. Enjoy imagery of unique birds in the rain forest as metaphors for their incredible work with vulnerable children.
5:30PM – Punch in the Gym
6:00PM – Dinner in the Gym
7:00PM – Program in the East Worship Center
Tickets are $12 per person and must be paid for by noon on Tuesday, October 22. No ticket sales after that and there is no option to pay at the door. Cost includes dinner and the program.
