Thank you for your prayers and participation at our annual church business meeting, which was held on Sunday, January 26. There is MUCH to celebrate as we heard about what God has done in and through our church—we praise the Lord for his provision and grace! We were blessed to hear ministry highlights from our ministry leaders and a financial report from Russ Van Der Vliet, Executive Director of Administration. In addition to looking back, we did the following:
- Approved the 2024 Financial Report
- Approved the 2025 Ministry Financial Plan
- Recognized outgoing Elders: Sam Movido and Jeff Weston
- Approved Elder nominees: Pedro Bustos, Grant Garnett, Russ Mann, and Adam Mitchell
- Approved church clerk: Donna Stone
- Heard Pastor Hanibal’s vision for our church in 2025
Wheaton Bible Church members were also encouraged to submit names of members to serve on the 2025 Elder Nominating Committee. This committee is formed each year to identify, nominate, evaluate, and select new Elders. Forms are available at the Welcome Desk for WBC members to submit a nominee, or you may send names of your nomination(s) to Donna Stone at dstone@wheatonbible.org.
Please continue to be in prayer for our Elders along with the staff and pastoral team as they seek to serve the Lord well in each of their ministries.
