God commands us to pray and delights in our prayers. “What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!” rightly declares the hymn What a Friend We Have in Jesus. Psalm 9:10 says, “those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.” Jesus reminded us that God’s desire is that the place where His people gather should be known as a house of prayer (Matt. 21:13). God changes us and continually accomplishes His purposes in the world through our prayers (Romans 8:25; 1 Timothy 2:1-4; 1 John 5:14; James 5:15-16).

Join us for a Night of Prayer on Sunday December 15th from 6:30-8:30PM in the East Worship Center. We will spend time in various forms of supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving to the one who knows and desires to hear the deepest longings of our hearts and is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, for His glory!
