On behalf of the Kids’ Life team, I am thrilled to announce that after a prayerful search, we have hired Jessica Galvan as our Bilingual Elementary Associate Director. Jessica joined our staff family on Monday, October 7.
In this role, Jessica will partner with Cinthia Yee in leading our elementary ministry to kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. As a multiethnic church, we are excited to have Jessica help disciple both our English and Spanish speaking families.
Jessica has been attending Iglesia del Pueblo for the last couple of years, serving in the IdP women’s and special needs ministries, and on one of our Go Team trips to the Dominican Republic. Most recently, she worked as a paraprofessional in a preschool setting as well as K-3 grade. Jessica also brings experience working with children and adults with autism as a registered behavior technician. God has given her a passion to see kids of all development levels and languages grow in their faith. That said, she is excited to join our team and to put her talents to use as a part of our family.
We are very grateful to have Jessica join the Kids’ Life team and to see how God will work through her in this role. Please join me in praying for Jessica during this transition.
