Costa Rican themed dinner & program
sponsored by Seniors Ministry, featuring WBC missionaries Philip & Jill Aspegren. While “birding” in this tropical nation is a favorite pastime of the Aspegren family, Philip and Jill are even more passionate about caring for children separated from their families and nesting them well so they can learn to fly. Casa Viva introduced local foster care to this Central American nation, and has now cared for over 1100 children in local families through the local church.

GLOBAL SUNDAY, OCT. 20
KYLE RESCHKE, Pastor of Sending and Outreach, gives leadership to the Global and Local Outreach efforts of WBC. This encompasses nearly 90 missionaries serving in 50+ nations, our local outreach ministries (including Puente del Pueblo in West Chicago), and mobilizing all generations to live “sent” lives. Kyle joined the staff of Wheaton Bible in 2013, having served in Haiti in disaster relief and community development following the devastating 2010 earthquake, and also on a remote island group in the Samoan Islands. An avid learner, traveler, and sports enthusiast, Kyle holds multiple degrees ranging from the sciences to the humanities. He and his wife Joy met at WBC and have three children —Liam, Brighton, and Arwen. Kyle and Joy are honored to be ministering at WBC and witnessing all God is doing in and through our Church family.
