After 8 years on staff, Adam Curry has decided to step down as Worship Leader and Canvas House Producer. Adam is an amazing talent and has been an invaluable part of our team. From his skills as a musician, composer, and producer, to his gifting as a worship leader, his legacy will be long lasting in the Canvas House projects that he has championed and the culture that he imparted into our team.
Adam began serving our church as a volunteer musician on the adult contemporary worship team in 2007 when he was just 12 years old. In 2014 he became a WBC worship intern and in 2016 came on staff as a worship leader. In 2022, Adam became the Canvas House Worship producer and Music Director. In that role, he composed and produced music that led to the release of our EP “Revive Us Again” as well as envisioning and facilitating various projects including our music videos and worship nights.
Adam will be moving to Nashville, TN to continue pursuing his career in music and production. We are thankful for Adam’s commitment and love for the Lord and for our church and we pray for the Lord’s guidance as he and Ali transition in this new season. His last day on staff will be November 1.
“I have called Wheaton Bible Church my home for over 20 years and I could never put into words just how much this church family has impacted my life. I am thankful for the friends and for the leaders that chose to invest in me when I was young and the ones who developed me and gave me the privilege of serving my congregation through music and worship – I am so grateful for all of you. I will admit that the ending of my time at WBC has been bittersweet – it’s hard to say goodbye to a place that I have loved for so long. I am however eager for what awaits Ali and me in Nashville and I hold a spirit of expectancy knowing the Lord’s faithfulness and goodness will follow us. To my band, my friends, and my church family – it has been a joy singing with you. Much love, Adam”
