Brian Hogan Worship and Creative Arts Pastor
Born, raised, and educated in the great state of Texas, Brian’s first connection with Wheaton Bible Church was a “chance” meeting with a couple from our church who “happened” to be on the committee that was charged with the responsibility of identifying the church’s next worship pastor. At the time, Brian had been in youth ministry for fifteen years, also using his musical gifts and training as a traveling worship leader. That meeting—at a Christian arts camp—led to conversations, interviews, and an eventual call in the fall of 2003 to move to Illinois as our Pastor of Worship and Creative Arts. Today, Brian’s main role is to lead worship for our contemporary services, but he also provides oversight to our music, video, and technical production ministries. He loves the opportunity his ministry role offers him to use his musical gifts to worship God and lead others to do the same. Brian is married to Amy, who is our Women’s Bible Study Coordinator, and they are the parents of three young adult sons—whose musical accomplishments bring great joy to their father’s heart.
