Surviving the Holidays
Offering help and hope as you navigate the holiday season
Thursday, November 16
6:30 pm: Optional Dinner
7-8:30 pm: Surviving the Holidays Seminar
Are you wondering how you'll survive the upcoming holiday season? You're not alone if you are dreading the weeks surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas—and we'd like to do what we can to help by offering a one-night seminar called Surviving the Holidays. This event is created for those who are dealing with the aftermath of divorce or separation, and for those who are grieving a loved one's death, Surviving the Holidays offers the kind of practical help you need.
Our DivorceCare and GriefShare ministries are each offering a separate session of this very practical and helpful one-night seminar: geared toward those who are dealing with the aftermath of divorce or separation, and another one for those who are grieving a loved one's death.
All are welcome to join us as we learn:
- How to deal with the many emotions you'll face during the holidays.
- What to do about traditions and other coming changes.
- Helpful tips for surviving social events.
- Ways to give your kids a good holiday experience.
- How to discover hope for your future.
- Creating memories as your life moves forward.
GriefShare program will take place in Upper 206
DivorceCare group will gather in Upper 250
Childcare is available for $8 total, but will require advance registration.
