Baptism and Communion
Once your child has made a decision to put his faith in Jesus Christ, then help him take the next steps of obedience in Baptism and Communion.
Understanding Baptism and Communion for Families Class
Friday, October 14, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
This interactive class is designed for third through sixth graders and their parents. It teaches four key topics: God’s Plan for Redemption (via a Seder meal), Salvation, Baptism, and Communion. Through dramas, games, food sampling, and object lessons, parents and their children will gain an understanding of the Passover and how it relates to the Last Supper, which instructs us to participate in Communion regularly out of obedience. Drama and object lessons are used to demonstrate the meaning of baptism. It is the hope that every child and parent will come away from this class with an understanding and acceptance of the Gospel message and the understanding of why we are baptized and take Communion.
