Quest 56 is a fun and safe place for 5th and 6th grade students to explore faith in Jesus and discover what it means to love God, grow together, and reach the world. Students engage in dynamic Bible-based teaching, experience fun activities that encourage positive relationships with peers and adult leaders, and participate in grade-level and gender-specific small groups that create space for them to ask questions and dig deeper into God's Word.
Sunday mornings at 9:45, students gather in the Quest 56 room to worship together and continue learning about God through large group, in-depth Bible lessons and grade level/gender-specific small groups designed to help students strengthen their relationship with Jesus and others.
We build on lessons learned in kindergarten through 4th grade by continuing The Gospel Project curriculum to help students on the quest of living their lives according to God's plan. During the 8:15 and 11:15 hours, 5th and 6th grade students are welcome to join our elementary programming that is combined for grades K-6. Students still have the opportunity to participate in small groups according to their grade level.
Sixth grade students will move up to junior high ministry on June 11. Quest 56 on Sunday mornings will conclude for fifth grade students on June 25 and will resume in the fall on September 10. During the summer months, fifth grade students are invited to participate in our Summer Sundays program offered only at the 9:45 service.
Quest 56 kicks off the Wednesday night program in mid-September, meeting from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, and continues through April. Wednesday nights are designed to offer a safe and fun environment for 5th and 6th graders to invite friends to learn together what it means to follow Jesus.
Students start off the night in the gym, participating in wacky and challenging group games and activities before transitioning to the Quest 56 room, where large-group teaching and small group discussions provide the opportunity for students to open the Bible and discover for themselves what God says in His Word. (Students who wish to continue Awana are welcome to join Quest 56 and continue with their handbooks.) There is no cost to join Quest 56 on Wednesdays, but students must register using the form below.
Throughout the year, Quest 56 sponsors several events which are typically held away from the church campus, offering students an opportunity to have fun with their friends and leaders, building relationships and creating memories together. Events include a finger-rocket battle, extreme trampolining, laser tag, and rock climbing. Events will be announced at Quest 56 on Sundays and Wednesdays, and information and registration will be available online.
Please fill out the form below to register your child for Quest 56 on Wednesday Nights. Visitors are always welcome and students may join at any point throughout the year.
