If God is good, why is there so much evil?

A presentation by Philip DelRe.

Philip DelRe, executive director of the Institute for Christian Apologetics, has given his remarkable personal testimony the intriguing title: From Mafia to Ministry and Prison to Praise. While he was never actually a member of the mafia, his drug connections were. Arrested in 1981, Phil's case represented the largest cocaine seizure in the history of the state.

Incarcerated in 1984 and released in 1987, Phil DelRe has since authored twelve books and appeared on numerous TV and radio programs, and has personally shared the Gospel with more than 100,000 maximum-security prison inmates. His ministry to the inmates at the Cook County Jail in Chicago was the subject of a made-for-television special that has aired twice nationwide.

Phil says that he was privileged beyond belief when he was chosen to be one of the evangelists to speak at Beyond Amsterdam 2000, a multinational conference sponsored by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. In addition, his teaching ministry has been featured at Moody Bible Institute, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and hundreds of other venues across the country and around the world.

This very special SearchLight Forum event is a uniquely powerful opportunity for you to invite relatives and friends to hear Philip DelRe speak on this important subject. Please pray about who you can invite.

There is no charge for SearchLight Fourm or the luncheon that follows, but if you would like to join us for lunch, we need to know you are coming.
