An Uncommon Union: The Life and Love of Jonathan and Sarah Edwards
We welcome the talented dramatist Maggie Rowe as Sarah Pierpont Edwards, wife of the famous colonial preacher Jonathan Edwards.
Performing in authentic period costume, Maggie will present a first-person account of the life of a woman who maintained a vibrant faith in the midst of family tragedy, church dissention, and the challenges of raising eleven children.
Documented by historians, the story we'll hear is the culmination of over a year of research by Maggie herself.
We hope you'll make plans now to join us for this exceptional presentation as we experience the era of the Great Awakening through the eyes of a woman who lived it. We'll also enjoy and be inspired by the moving salvation testimony of Jonathan Edwards.
Maggie Rowe is a speaker, dramatist, and writer who also works in public relations for Tyndale House Publishers. As the author of several original one-woman dramas, she has traveled extensively throughout the United States speaking at conferences and retreats. In 2014 Maggie received her Master's degree in Biblical Studies from Wheaton Graduate School. Her greatest blessings are Mike, her husband and pastor of 40+ years at Wheaton First Baptist Church, their adult children, and three grandchildren.
