Maturing Adult Gathering October 19, 2017

MissionsFest Dinner and Program

Egypt is the theme for our special Maturing Adults MissionsFest gathering on October 19. That evening, we will journey down the River Nile to catch a glimpse into the land of Egypt and learn about some of the ways God is at work in this Middle East nation today.

Join us as we experience the ambiance and richness of Egpyt and its culture through visual media, decor, and a presentation by special guest Wheaton Bible Church missionary, Randy Capp. A gifted and creative communicator, Randy will take us on a tour to seven key Egyptian cities, enlarging our understanding of their significance and the innovative ways the Bible Society of Egpyt is lifting up the Gospel in the face of challenge and adversity.

As design and communications consultant for an Egyptian team of over 200, Randy will also give us an overview of outreach and publishing efforts that are making significant impact in this strategic part of the world.

Our Egpyt theme would not be complete without musical highlights from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, performed by our women's ensemble, back by popular demand.

Invite a guest to join you as we experience glimpses of Egypt through the eyes of an "insider" during this enlightening evening—hosted by Tim Botts—that closes out the global focus of MissionsFest.

Tickets are available for $10 through some Adult Classes, at the Welcome Desk, or by calling Joan or Annabel at 630.260.1600. Tickets must be purchased by noon, Tuesday, October 17. Ticket price covers the cost of the meal and the program.
