Elisei & Adriana, Rebuild Romania Ministries/Romania: Education
The Rusu’s work with Rebuild Romania Ministries in Romania and Elisei is the executive director. Elisei also serves as the Senior Vice President of the Timotheus Bible Institute of Bucharest (TBI). Both Elisei and Adriana are college professors at TBI who train and equip people in God’s word. As pastor and pastor’s wife they are involved in mentoring, premarital and marital counseling. Elisei is also a frequent radio and TV bible speaker.

- This past summer was the hottest in Romania in recent history: more than 40 days of temperatures over 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The mixture of hot weather and pouring rain caused flooding and chaos around the country.
- Pray: For the Romanians that have lost their loved ones and/or their belongings in the flooding.
- For TBI to continue to grow and develop in this difficult financial time and for the students to continue to grow in their service of God.
- Praise: In June, Elisei conducted a baptism for 18 new Christians. Some of them came from Christian families, but more than half came from families where they are first generation believers.
- Pray: For these new believers to fully trust the Lord, and for more people to come to the Lord.
- For the struggling families undergoing counseling to learn how to communicate and trust each other and to learn to come before the Lord when they are in need.
- For the Christian families to learn the beauty of being married in the Lord.
- For the college students to accept themselves and enjoy being God’s masterpiece to be used for His work.
- The Rusu’s continue in a legal battle regarding ownership of the church & school property. The next court date is in October.
- Please pray: For the battle to end. Pray that the church and TBI will once again be able to use financial resources to further God’s Kingdom, not only defend it!
- Praise: The Rusu’s thank you for your partnership with them for God’s glory!
