How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ
I came to know the Lord during my first year in college. I grew up as a protestant but never really knew God’s heart, His love for His people, and the incredible power of the Gospel. It was during my first year in college that God used different circumstances to bring me to Him. He allowed me to see the transforming power of the Gospel in my mother first, then in my brother and sister. He allowed me to experience what it means to live a life that has meaning and purpose. He allowed me to see and taste what it means to be captivated by His love. It was then that he opened up my heart, gave me the gift of repentance and came to Him.
How I came to Wheaton Bible Church
My brother had been serving as a youth pastor for Iglesia for six months and was about to leave the country to move to China as a missionary. I had been serving with my brother at a different church before and we shared the same passions, visions and desires. As he was leaving, he recommended me for the position as a youth pastor. I came to an interview with the senior pastor at that time and he offered me the job right there and then.
What I do at Wheaton Bible Church
I am the Teaching pastor at Iglesia del Pueblo. My duties include preaching on worship services, teachings (some ministries and community groups) and oversee our pastoral ministries.
Why I do what I do
That’s a simple answer! I was allowed to “find” a beautiful and powerful message, and I wanted to share it!

Born in Latin America
On staff since April 2006
Studied Literature (Bachelors), Elementary Education (Masters), Bicultural Education (Masters) at Northeastern University in Chicago, and currently working on a Masters of Art of Religion with a theological emphasis at Reformed Theological Seminary
Previously worked as a Youth and Local Impact Pastor

Como llegue a tener una relacion con Jesucristo
Yo llegué a conocer al Señor durante mi primer año de la universidad. Yo crecí como protestante pero realmente nunca supe del corazón de Dios, su amor por la gente, y el poder increíble del Evangelio. Fue durante mi primer año de la universidad que Dios utilizó diferentes circunstancias que me atrajeron a Él. Me permitió ver el poder transformador del Evangelio, primero en mi madre y luego en mi hermano y hermana. Me permitió ver y probar lo que significa ser cautivado por Su amor. Fue allí cuando Él me abrió el corazón, me dió el regalo del arrepentimiento y vine a Él.
Como llegue a Wheaton Bible Church
Mi hermano había estado sirviendo como pastor de jóvenes en la Iglesia del Pueblo por seis meses y estaba a punto de salir del país a vivir en la China como misionero. Yo había estado sirviendo con mi hermano en una iglesia diferente y compartimos las mismas pasiones, visiones y deseos. Antes de irse, me recomendó para la posición de pastor de jóvenes. Vine a una entrevista con, en ese tiempo el pastor principal, y me ofreció el trabajo en ese instante.
Que hago en Wheaton Bible Church
Yo soy el Pastor de Enseñanza en la Iglesia del Pueblo. Mis deberes incluyen el predicar en los servicios, enseñar (en algunos ministerios y grupos comunitarios) y supervisar nuestro ministerio pastoral.
Por que hago lo que hago
¡Eso es simple! ¡Me fue permitido a “encontrar” un hermoso, poderoso mensaje y lo quise compartir!

Nací en Latinoamérica
En el staff desde Abril del 2006
Estudié Literatura en Español (Bachillerato), Educación (Maestría), Educación Bicultural (Maestría) de la Universidad de Northeastern en Chicago, y actualmente estoy trabajando en una Maestría en Religión con énfasis teológico en el Seminario Teológico Reformado.
