Caring for Kids is a place of support for children who have experienced the loss of a parent or a loved one due to death or through divorce. We are here to help restore hope, trust and healing for every child.
Our volunteer staff is a committed group of individuals who are trained with the proper tools and a biblically-based curriculum that discusses topics such as: building trust, dealing with anger, sad feelings, and other situations related to changes that have taken place within the family. Our team is like a family—many have served for years and have experienced the same losses and sorrows as the families we serve. We are dedicated and hopeful—God is the great Healer of all time and it is because of Him that we know great things can happen! He takes the brokenness of our lives and makes it into something beautiful over time.
It’s easy to feel that way when you are going through such painful times. Caring for kids provides a safe, confidential, nurturing environment where you will meet other families experiencing similar struggles. Everyone is valued, loved and supported in their journey at whatever stage they are in.
