Love God, Grow Together, Reach the World

Women's Bible Studies

If you are considering being in a Bible study this winter, you are considering one of the most life-changing things you could do. Regardless of which study you choose, you will be making a great choice. You’ll meet women who will encourage you, learn more about God who you are seeking, and you’ll become a different woman than the woman you see in the mirror today.

God’s love for us is truer than any love we will ever know and being in a Bible study will not only help us discover that love more and more, but it will prepare us to share God’s love with those around us. And, we’ll want to share it because God loves them too. We forward to all the Lord has for us this semester in His Word and with you!

The Promised One: Seeing Jesus in Genesis
by Nancy Guthrie

The Promised One provides a fresh look at the book of Genesis, leading readers in discovering how its stories, symbols, people, and promises point to Christ. This study will help you make discoveries of Jesus as seen in the shadows of the Old Testament; apply the Gospel found in Genesis to issues such as shame, fear, and the desire for security and significance; and develop your longing for what is ahead when the world is once again made new. You will gain a fresh perspective on the book of Genesis, a broader understanding of Jesus as the fulfillment of Scripture, and so much more as you take this incredible journey to see Jesus in the Old Testament. 20–30 minutes daily study time

Men of the Bible
by Ann Spangler, Robert Wolgemuth

Gather with other senior women as we finish a discussion on Women of the Bible and move into Men of the Bible. We will focus on the fifty-two men in Scripture whose stories often mirror our own. The devotional offers five elements; inspiration, application, Bible study, Bible promises, and prayer. Through understanding these men’s lives, we will discover the God behind their stories—and ours. — No homework required, just come and enjoy a great discussion.

Fatal Distractions: Conquering Destructive Temptations
by Precept Upon Precept

Is sin threatening your spiritual progress? Any type of sin can undermine a believer’s effectiveness, but certain sins can become so deeply rooted in our lives—even without our realizing—that they become fatal to our spiritual growth. This study looks at six of the “deadly” sins that threaten spiritual progress: pride, anger, jealousy, gluttony, slothfulness, and greed. Learn to identify the subtle ways in which these fatal distractions can invade your life, and you’ll be equipped to conquer these destructive temptations so you can mature in your journey with Christ. 40 minutes daily study time
