Our strategic intent is to develop a full-orbed ministry in Christ by reaching other older adults for Him, fostering true community, becoming discipled with loving followers of Christ, and being outfitted to make a difference for Him in our community and world.
We rejoice that ever-greater numbers of older adults elect to stay in the area after retirement rather than move out of state. Led by Pastor John White, we are excited to see what new things God is doing through and for our wonderful maturing adults this year!
The Maturing Adult Team (MAT) functions as a clearing house and coordination point for ministry opportunities that it brings to the older adult classes thereby allowing more kingdom work to be accomplished together than as individuals or groups. The scope of MAT's charge also extends to all older adults in the church and residential community.
This group of seasoned volunteers provides spiritual care for those hospitalized, in short-term care, or shut-in situations. If you know of someone who needs a visit, or are interested in becoming a VIP, contact the Jill Fenoglio, 630.653.4525.
